Planners are anticipating corporate events to make a big comeback. While some workers are turning down five days a week in the office, conferences and meetings give people the chance to get a taste of ‘normal’ corporate life again without committing to the office Monday through Friday. In order to keep up throughout the last year and a half, corporate planners have had to get creative with events and will continue to do so as they recruit attendees post-pandemic and numbers even out again.

These exciting times are also bringing new challenges for both the wedding industry and engaged couples to navigate. Wedding planning during COVID-19 reopenings most likely means encountering an industry with limited availability: many venues and vendors are experiencing shortages as they try to accommodate the surplus of couples who the pandemic has denied the wedding of their dreams.

Since many couples had to postpone their weddings for the 2020 season due to the pandemic, this season the celebration is on and it’s the largest boom to date. This is causing venues to fill up quickly and available staff is scarce. To top it off, restaurants, bars and hotels are all experiencing a labor shortage.
